We want to hear your ideas!
Digitalisation and sustainability should go hand in hand, and digital technology should serve people. We’d love to work with you to find out how this can be achieved and what it means in practice. We’re looking for people who are passionate about digital sustainability, as well as those who have already made a difference. People who want to show how it can be done. We want to learn from you and your projects.

DINAcon is coming to Germany
“Without active shaping, global digital transformation carries the risk of further accelerating the threat to humanity’s natural foundations of life. Without regulation and democratic oversight, it can also jeopardise the cohesion of our societies, violate fundamental and human rights, and weaken our democracies. Only if the use of digital technologies is embedded within a strategy for sustainable development can it make a positive contribution to our shared digital future.” The German Federal Government’s Scientific Advisory Council on Global Environmental Change (WBGU) in: Our Shared Digital Future

The term ‘sustainability’ is primarily associated with resource scarcity, the climate crisis and environmental protection. However, in addition to ecological aspects, sustainability also touches on economic and social spheres. Information and communication technologies play an important, but above all dual, role in this context: on the one hand, they drive negative developments; on the other, they can form the basis for sustainable development.
